Michael Doucet, the founder of the band Beausoleil, is a Cajun fiddler, vocalist, folklorist, and a pioneer in redefining the essence of Cajun music. With his passion and deep connection to the Cajun/Acadian culture, Doucet developed his own style of Cajun music and has inspired many other Cajun artists as well. This album is joyous and innovative, offering a mix of vocal and instrumental dance music.
